I really enjoyed it and thought. It was very informative and beneficial. Paul and Jacki were both keen to listen and take any feedback to improve there deliverance of future courses and how they can change and help pharmacy’s to provide pharmacy first services. - (BM)
The speakers were very engaging and approachable. I would of liked more of the projected slides used during the presentation to use to talk to the team when back at branch - (AB)
I learnt a new way of approaching and asking questions - (GT)

Very useful and informative. - (SP)
Just for us in particular - the reason we asked for a mental health course was because one of our colleagues was in a situation where a patient who was on a bridge called up and threatened to jump if she put him on hold or left to get help. When she told us about this, it made me feel very uncomfortable and underprepared if that situation ever happened to me, I would not know what to say or do. We did touch on skills like this a little with the case study example but I think overall we were all hoping that this training would teach us better ways to handle times when we are faced with difficult patients but it was more about mental health awareness which we have had training in already. I also feel like the training could have been a bit more interactive and I found myself losing focus. - (JM)
The course contained very sensitive information which went into much depth but not at all helpful in the learning goals that I have stated above. - (KS)
The trainer was great but I was hoping more interaction/help with Mental Health patients rather than my own Mental Health. - (CH)
The trainer was knowledge and friendly. The content was triggering at times and I had a panic attack part way through as a sensitive subject was being described in a lot of detail which I wasn't prepared for. At the end I brought up that not all people having a mental health crisis are noticeably struggling and it's important to acknowledge this which the trainer did then mention. - (EP)
I really useful course for everyone, helps to get you thinking about how best to help others but also how to recognise the importance of self-care. - (JC)
Just for us personally, we requested a mental health course because we had an instance where a patient called in whilst on a bridge and was threatening to jump if the reception colleague put him on hold or left the phone to get help and the colleague felt completely powerless and didn't know what to say as did the rest of us when she told us about it. We did touch on the subject a little with the case study but it would have been good to know more about what we could say or do in a situation like that.I feel like the talk could have been a bit more engaging as I found myself getting distracted during the long talks. - (JM)
I was kept engaged which is good for me, did I learn a lot....... no, but I do read a lot. To me I would say some things felt it was a mental health course for ourselves but then it was about patients, I would say a bit confusing, but it was good - (HD)
Very helpful. - (CY)
Mel was great! Her enthusiasm really showed and she is very knowledgeable. For me personally, I was expecting to learn more about how to help difficult patients and not have the focus on my own MH. I really don’t want to take anything away from Mel, I think maybe just a miscommunication from my manager of what to expect - (HF)
Thank you - (KT)
It was interactive and interesting to see how other people thought, felt. - (KH)
I was expecting more information on how to help individuals who may be suicidal on the phone. - (KS)
Really good - (LL)

Thank you for providing this course. It was very informative and I feel the trainer created a very relaxed environment, considering the small group today. I found the trainer to be very open about their own experiences which helped and the training was at a good pace for me. - (JW)
Really enjoyed the session. A subject that needs to be discussed and acted upon within GP practices. - (PA)
