Resilience is the process of adapting to challenges, stress, adversity, threats and trauma. In your work these are very real adaptations that must be accommodated. Our resilience programme helps staff to bounce back from difficult experiences, conversations, interactions and personal challenges. The course gives practical skills and approaches to help you and your team be more effective within your work environment.
The course focuses on the development of two key capacities. The first is to learn techniques to control and reduce stress. The second is to increase confidence to build better connections with colleagues and friends, enabling more support at difficult times.
Staff are encouraged to set achievable goals and will leave the course with an action plan to take back to the workplace and home to build greater emotional resilience.
This resilience course can be either a half day for those who are time pressed, or a longer day where you can practise the newly developed skills and understanding.
